The $80 price range is totally understood. Being in the 501st for the last 5 years I know the costs and time put into armor and prop making, especially electronics.

They weren't clean, too many air bubbles. I was trying some poured casts and they just weren't working. Also I had created my mold from liquid latex and it shrank too much so the rings weren't fitting properly. I have a new mold now though that is working much better! I've done various castings before and in general with the clear resins you really need a vacuum chamber (which I'm too cheap to buy). That would probably solve the air bubble problem.
