American Dad did a homage to tron a while back in a scene where steve wore a lightsuit to play video games in a 3d game room

There was literally just a thread about this. It was called "Tron Cameos" or something. For some reason the search function on this forum hates me...a lot and will never actually do anything I tell it too (someone should send it away to get killed in the games...), so I can't search for it. One episode of South Park regarding Facebook had Stan Marsh get digitized into Facebook to fight in "War Games", that is, playing Yahtzee with another program.

I just saw an episode of Big Bang Theory last night (I think it was last week's episode, maybe) where Sheldon is teaching a college class and he thinks all his students love him, but really they hate him and when the gang tries to tell him how much everyone hated it one of them uses the line, "It was like the Hindenburg meets Chernobyl meets Three Mile Island meets Tron 2."
So, not a good reference, but still a reference.
