I agree. I saw this same thing about a month ago here. I've been a member of Tron-Sector for years... I'm almost one of the first ones... and I've never seen anything like this here before. Nor do I want to again. This is a family site and whoever this is either hates TRON or this site for some reason and he's made it clear he intends to sick around and do as much harm as he can. This is already well past the one time thing. Can we do anything along these lines:

(1) All new members must have their first 20 posts approved by a moderator before they show up.
(2) Everyone could be limited on no more then 3 posts per hour. Post with simple ascii, no html, links, pics, etc might not need to count against this limit. Editing a post counts as a new post.
(3) I'd actually be ok if ALL posts had to be moderator approved before they'd show up for the next few months if it would get rid of this guy. However I'm not a moderator and that is easy to say. I doubt its doable though.

If anyone knows who this is or why he's doing it I would think he'd be open to some serious legal action by this point. Something needs to be done.

I think members who have been here for years..
and are known good users.. shouldn't have to have their posts approved..

And I do hope the mod that is pressing charges catches this guy.

What's so cool is this is exactly what I was planning to add tonight. New users can't attach images until x number of posts. And then only 1-2 images within a post until x posts.

I also want to add a timed feature. For new users, only x posts per hour. So if you can only post 10 posts in an hour, and 20 posts till you can attach an image, then the fastest he could spam anything is two hours after his first post.

Most definitely! Ive experienced that once when a magazine featured a forum i used to visit which was mellow and friendly. From this advertisement, a whole slew of new members joined and many were quite rude to downright disgusting.
Most of the finer members left, sadly and the forum pretty much went to heck afterwards.

I hope that never happens here.

I have a better idea, the next time such content shows up, only one user reports it and we all just ignore it.

I actually think it is this user's intension to gross us out and try and make us leave the forum.
