Glitch Wrote:I've got to go to the post office tomorrow so I'm gong to grill them on the situation, with large & heavy parcels sent by Small Packet airmail actually being sent by cargo ship, it means they're essentially charging the wrong postal rates, Small Packets posted by land is about 60% the cost of sending by air.

The information about Homeland Security's paranoia going into overdrive and scanning packages more thoroughly which is causing severe delays isn't shown on their price guide section of their website when pricing up for America - why the hell not, it's the perfect place to let customers know about potential delays, and the past couple of weeks I've been going in and posting these large packages by Small Packet airmail the staff weren't given the delays to America information on their screens either.

I hate this because it means the 5 Light Cycles I've posted won't arrive for weeks and it makes me look bad, I don't like it when people are annoyed at me and I don't like it that the post office are so inept on letting everyone (staff+customers) know such an important piece of information.
It's not like the delays have just started, this has apparently been going on for the past 3 months.

Don't worry about it glitch I understand & i too, thank you for understanding as well.

Yeah, I'm not blamin' ya, Glitch. The PO should have had a notice or something posted, or let you know before you sent the stuff out that way. If I was there....they'd be catching hell.

In the meantime, if this thing eventually shows up damaged...I'll be catching hell from the missus. Guaranteed I can calm her about it taking longer to get here...but she REALLY was hesitant to let me spend the $$$ on this. This is pretty much the most expensive toy I ever bought, too. LOL. Sigh.

Please everyone, keep your fingers crossed that these things show up in excellent shape. Say a prayer. Throw some salt over your shoulder. Whatever it takes. Otherwise, my butt is: toast :/

Different mailing systems worldwide do not gave the same software to track all the time, in the UK they have private postal companies. Customs, weather affect transit time.

JediTray, I have never had a problem with Small Packet posting to the US until your Homeland Security decided to go into paranoia overdrive - I, like many many other people didn't find out about them delaying post until parcels started getting late, nobody here even knew about it and a fair majority of people on this board are in the country that's imposing the delays.

And do not forget you were one of the ones who was crying out for help getting the exclusive Recogniser & Light Cycle - I went right out of my way to get them, borrowing £100s and driving over 150 miles in total, then spending time packaging them up and taking them to the post office.

Ok, JediTray, take it down a notch. This thread doesn't need to go down that way.

Check it out guys, I just received my Recognizer set today from my buddy in the UK. If you saw my post above I said that he sent it on Jan. 18th, and it just came today, Feb. 17. A whole month later, due to our new US customs laws. My outer box was a little banged up, it was definitely opened and inspected, but the toy was untouched. Before today I felt the same way a few of you are feeling because I've never had a package take that long to reach me. But rest assure, it will come. If it's over a month and still nothing, than I'd start to worry.

At any rate, like I said, the real anger hasn't hit yet. Attack me, and it'll come tenfold.

You can gladly take it down a notch because I'm asking you nicely. Please don't go down the path the youknowwho went down.

BTW, you're not a 'real' toy collector until you've spent 100's on a single item

The most I've spent on a single carded figure is about $250, and a few others in the $150 range, but the figure I really want so I can complete the last set of the series, is so rare a fellow collector who got uber-lucky and managed to get one was offered $5000 for his... and he declined O_O

Watch the language

That expressions (this is the last time I am going to tell you) only applies if you've told me before, which you haven't. I don't qualify as "we", but I was still right about what I said. "We", as in, me and the other people on this board, DO in fact understand that your mad, I mean, you've only posted about it, what, 10 times?

Is there anything you haven't posted about 10 times? This has nothing to do with you I don't know why you feel like you have to chime in, multiple times, on EVERY topic.

edit: I agree with Glitch, JediTray. These toys were expensive but not even as much as say, the Sideshow collectables. I'm frustrated too but if you couldn't afford the toys you shouldn't have gotten them, that's not Glitch's fault. There's nothing to even suggest that they have been lost yet, Glitch was nice enough to find out some circumstances and explain them. He's doing his best.

Went into a Disney store today in the Uk and they had 25% of ALL TRON items. That includes what is online as well.

I just learned of the existence of the UK Recognizer and I want one SOOO badly now. It makes the North American release look like it's a glorified tupper ware container.

Is it too late to join in this buy?
Anyone out there willing to help a stranger out and hook him up with a cool toy?

Sincere public apologies to everyone that witnessed it.

That being said, I think Glitch is done helping folks with these. It was very taxing on him and I understand that completely. If that's not the case and he wants to still help some of you, then I'm sure he will let you folks know. In addition, I have sent out some emails to folks in, around, or knowing of the UK. If anything comes of it, I will post or perhaps start a new thread since it would not involve Glitch.

Please understand that NOTHING is guaranteed and if indeed I can get some overseas help, especially since the toys are being clearanced for 25% off, I will post about it.

Again, many thanks to Glitch and a resounding "UP YOURS" to the postal system!
Very noble of you to publicly apologize. Diabetes is a rough disease I've heard. Sorry to hear about that.

Glitch has gone WAY out of his way to help people he never met...doesn't know...and live in a different country. Gotta give the guy supreme credit for just being so selfless and generous with the Tron items for us USA people who can't get the good stuff.

And agreed: UP YOURS to the postal system! Ridiculous.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

Hello guys, long time viewer but new poster to this fine forum.

I am within 30 miles drive of a Disney store. I can get an the last 4 they have, and I have one more so that's 5 recognisers in total. I would be looking at $85 plus shipping. Though I'm new here and I understand people being unsure on my trust, I am more then happy to put these on private sale through eBay where you can see my rep. For this reason as well I will only accept Pay Pal. I will bubble wrap each recogniser 3 times and put in a cardboard box to get it in as perfect condition as possible.

I will also try and get hold some of the pull back bikes as well, if they have any left.

I want to help fellow users get this stuff. I was luckily on holiday in october when the toys hit Florida so stocked up with things I'd never thought would hit the uk. I understand your frustrations as fellow collectors.

Please PM me as I will get these before they sell out, but only if you want them :-)where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Yeah, fairly lame honestly. If it weren't for the tanks the set wouldn't be worth going out of the way for. It would have been a nice replacement for the Recognizer we got in the US, but that one serves a purpose too. The Recogniser has some nice lights on the back and makes a pretty sweet Recogniser flying/revving sound. It's a nice back drop for the 4" figures too.

The plastic vehicles are very nice for plastic vehicles, they aren't flimsy or brittle, and they all are impressive in detail compared to the diecasts we got. But, I still prefer the diecasts. I wish the spinmaster diecasts had used the models that Disney did on this set, and I DEFINITELY wish that Spin Master had done diecast tanks.

If I had gotten diecast tanks likely I would have only been interested in the pull-back lightcycle.

As far as US-exclusive toys Glitch would know better than I but it was my understanding he couldn't get Rinzler or Kevin Flynn Deluxe Discs. Not sure if that was a UK thing or because he could only get toys at Disney Store (to my knowledge Disney Store hasn't carried any S2 stuff.)where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

No doubt, the tank is more of an original Tron thing. Before I saw Legacy I didn't even care for many of the new designs, including the light cycles. I mainly liked the Recognizer diecast and the two KF light cycles.

I understand the price is high, but not much I can do with that I'm afraid.

In the uk, no series 2, deluxe light discs, Clu light bike or 2inch action packs! Luckily I bought all the series 1 action packs and a Clu light bike in Orlando last year.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillwhere to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Oh man, the light cycles are awesome!!! Actually, the 1st vehicle I bought and liked from Legacy was the Light Runner. It is the best vehicle for a toy line I have ever bought!! Hey, I am a major completist. I am going to post a forum about the variances in die cast vehicles. Please throw down your 2 cents. About 10 min.

Cool I look forward to it. Once I saw the movie I fell in love with the new light cycle design, and really like the light runner and the larger jets. I've got all the diecasts and larger vehicles, so I look forward to reading about your observations

Having TRON diecasts honestly is the best thing for me, I've always loved matchbox cars and never imagined having diecast lightcycles and recognizers. Definitely going to pick up some extras once those drop on clearance. Already got a few extra KFs to paint in classic colors.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online
