I made a recording of part of last nights rerun of Star Trek Next Generation on cable, and there was a fight between Commander Riker and his dad-they had gear on that was practically   I plan to put the segment on Youtube, and hope to photoshop some images to make them glow!!
Also, if anyone wants to add the effects as well, please do, 'cause I'm only an amateur at TRON glow.

If you can read Japanese, there are some subtle reference to a couple 80's anime.
Kanji "Sei" on the platform means star , part of the anime title "Urusei Yatsura" (Those Obnoxius Aliens), and on it's side the katakana "Yuri" name of the blue haired female intergalatic agent Yuri in the anime "Dirty Pair"...
the other kanji on the side of the platform is "mizu" which means water.
This is just one instance or "hidden" references to Dirty Pair, and Urusei Yatsura on set peices or in "alien" dialoge in ST: TNG...
For example, a Ferengi password to allow access given to main computer was
"Ke-i Yu-ri..." referencing the characters Kei and Yuri of "Dirty Pair"...
