Hi again gang!

My movie watching was pre-emptied by the kernel and am now at the part where the Flynns + Quorra are on the way to the portal and Tron is walking along the cars. Quorra runs from them and Tron captures her... I THINK Tron heard Kevin say: "Tron... He's alive." But i'm not sure.. What do you guys think?

It was pretty clear when I saw it in theaters, might be your audio setup . . . just saying.

Agreed. The only thing that I can think of is some small part of him recgonized the voice and chose to ignore it to keep them alive?

I've watched the movie so many times and each time I find myself bummed that Flynn explodes and we are unsure of Tron's state.

Yeah, I watched it with headphones and noticed that as well. I figured as much but wasn't completely sure I was right.

In the flashback scene (when Tron tries to defend Flynn from Clu & Flynn runs away) he picks up a defeated guards Disk, resulting in him standing there for a second with two Disks in his hands.

When Flynn see's him and says "He's alive!" I've always assumed it was because he saw the two Disks Rinzler was holding-a Black guards & Trons.

The point is that Flynn recognised Tron's Disk, and seeing Rinzler using it figured out who he really was.

Well that's what I thought....
