To answer your question, I think that TRON will actually play a much more prominent role in the next TRON film. But I think the focus of the film will most likely center on Quorra, how she fits into the real world, as well as her relationship with Sam. And Ed Dillinger, Jr. will probably be a major character in the overall plot of the movie as well. But yes, I think we will see a lot more of TRON himself in the next film. (At least, I hope so!)

There's no reason to believe Tron died and in regard to life and death on the grid as I recall the grid is a virtual representation of what goes on in a computer, if that's so when somebody erases a program on a computer it's still there, it simply cannot be found anymore.

I still think the next movie is going to be a love triangle type story focusing on Sam, Quorra, and Ed Jr. which would mirror the Alan-Laura-Flynn thing that went on before Tron. It also explains why Ed Jr. was made to look like Justin Bieber. Chicks dig that kind of stuff.

it would be hard to pick an actor for beck, since he is so animated an unrealistic looking (unless they left him in a helmet such as what they did with Rinzler).

Uh, no. Bruce is like 6'2". Anis Cheurfa (who played Rinz) is well shorter than that-- I've heard speculation of everything from 5'4" to 5'7".

I've always said: the dude had the moves, which we all agree is why they chose him, although I'm sure they could've found someone that cool who was taller as well. However. Use him for the fight scenes (though there were actually only a couple of those where they needed him for the flashy moves anyway), where he spends little time in close proximity to anyone else anyway, and use a taller body double for the rest where you actually see him in relation to the other actors.

You can see that he's shorter than Hedlund (who I believe is 6' or 6'1"), though it's hard to tell by how much because of the helmet and because he slouches for much of the film:

And he appears to be about the same height as Wilde (I can't remember how tall she is, but I want to say 5'6", because I remember someone once gave her height and I think she was the same height as I am), who doesn't appear to be wearing heels in this scene. And again add at least an inch for the helmet, I'd think.

As I said, Wilde appeared to be wearing flats in the scene from which I posted the screencap. He can't be 5'10" or 5'11" because there's no way in hell he's only an inch or two shorter than Hedlund (and yeah, Hedlund and Bridges are around the same height from what I found some time ago), nor is he several inches taller than Wilde. You can tell that from the pics.
