Tron Uprising live action casting.

on Thursday, December, 13, 2012 3:53 PM
I was walking into town today, and listening to the Tron: Reconfigured album on my MP3 Player.
And I started thinking about how good it would be to have this kind of music in Uprising.

And then a really interesting thought struck me:

If they were going to make a LIVE ACTION version of the Uprising series (using REAL actors instead of animation), which actors/actresses would be best suited for particular roles?
Obviously the characters that appeared in Legacy that also appeared in Uprising (Tron, Clu, Quorra and the Sirens) would have to be played by the original actors, but what about the other characters that have appeared solely in Uprising?

I've divided them into two catagories=

Main Characters=These are Beck, Mara, Zed, Able, Tessla, Paige and Pavel.

And there are Minor Characters=These are the characters that have appeared occassionary from time to time (in some cases just a single episode), like Brodhi, Gold, Cobalt, Cutler, Aida (The Iso with Quorra in the episode Isolated), etc

(The one thing to note is that the actors voices are always associated with the characters they are playing, and has is always the case with animation is that the actors often look nothing like that charcters thay portray. You might want to make a note of that).where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

I always thought Chris Evans would make a good Beck--His idealistic and all around nice guy portrayal of Captain America reminds me of Beck. His body type isn't exactly the same (Andrew Garfield fits that role better) but I think he'd pull of the personality really well, especially as an older Beck (I have my hopes Tr3n will make use of characters from Uprising, assuming they survive).

As for Paige I think her own voice actress Emmanuelle Chriqui could play her because again I'm putting personality over just looks. A big part of Paige's personality is fleshed out through Chriqui's own inflection and speech so I think that would work well for her in a live action portrayal.

I must say that is REALLY GOOD! Even the hair could be styled the same way.

The other's are good has well-I've only seen Chris Evans in just one film (Captain America, which for me was one of the best Super Hero films I've seen), and I think he could pull it off quite well.
Also, that actress that plays Paige-I dont really know her (or her work), but again she could be quite good too.

Another one that occured to me recently was Lance Henriksen, who (ironically) plays Tessler in Uprising.
Tesler has a rather gruff, stern look in his face, and I think that Lance could (again) pull that look off quite well, he's certainly got one of those faces that could do that (not to mention the gruff voice, which is already there has it were).

There is one problem though-Lance is 72 years old, which might make him a bit too old for that role (I've always imagined that, if Tesler was a human, he'd probably be a few years younger then that, probably in his fifties).

And has for Mara I'd probably go for someone like Katie Holmes or Maggie Gyllenhaal (both of whom appereared in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, playing Rachel). I think that could work quite well too.

I thought of another one the other day-Cutler could be played by DENZEL WASHINGTON.

The only problem is that Denzel Washington is 54 years old, so it would have to be when he was much younger (in his late tweenties perhaps).on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlinewhere to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I know the perfect person to play Paige! My friend! (girl on the right of course).

She also likes to wear her hair like Paige (but going to the left instead of right) sometimes. And if an uprising movie were to be released within 5 years, my friend's 18 this year and would be the perfect age! And I swear, sometimes when she's angry she talks like Paige! Once we had to act a scene from the movie "Breakfast Club" for an English assignment, and my friend had to play this pissed off girl. She was almost exactly like Paige while acting, and even got an A+ on that assignment!abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

It's like you read my mind O.O

My friend (and fellow fan) never calls Able by his name, just "Bad A$$ Old Guy" and ever since then I can only see the biggest bad a$$ of them all.

Had another idea today.

For Beck why not try TOBEY MAGUIRE, from the Spiderman movies?

He's quite young (when he made the Spiderman films), and those films showed that he can do action sequances quite well.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

There's a series that's just started recently here called Suits, and although I've not watched it yet I've seen the trailers for it.
There's a young guy on it played by an actor called Patrick J Adams, and I think that he would make an EXCELLENT Beck!

I've found some pictures of him, see what you think:

Not only does he look like Beck, but he even sounds a bit like Elijah Wood as well!

I saw that new Star Trek movie the other night on DVD, and in it they Peter Weller playing the character of Admiral Marcus.
However, most of you will probably remember him most for playing Robocop back in the 80s.

Anyway, I was watching him on screen, and looking at him I suddenly thought that he would make a really good General Tesler in Uprising.
Not only does he have that same rugged 'mature' look that the General has in the show, but he also has the same deep gravely voice that Lance Henrikson also has when he's doing the character.

I found a (short) clip of him being interviewed on the Star Trek set:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQ5KmYF-N98

I would have liked to have posted some clips of him playing the character in the film, but I thought I'd better not in case they show too much of the storyline to people who haven't seen the movie yet (and thus risk spoiling it for them). :P
