Not sure how to classify it exactly. It's progressive rock for the most part - lots of synth and lots of rock out stuff. I dunno.

I finally got to listen to the soundcloud tracks today. Love it.

That sort of thing could get tricky and messy though, I'd think, since you'd be working with unknown talent and no idea what sort of technology they might be using.

I always thought it would be fun to send a musical track along to a bunch of my musical friends all over the place and just say, "Add something to it." I'm not near most of my friends that I'd like to collaborate with, so it would be really the only way to fly.

(I always keep saying they should get Eric Whitacre to do a guest track for the third film and use the Virtual Choir...)

I will, eventually. I hope. Unfortunately, the computer I was using to record belonged to my former partner. I'm thinking about just asking him if I can have it, since he hasn't even hooked it up since he moved (and I never took my stuff off of it, so it has all of my recordings, everything I've written, etc. I am soooo dumb. I'll get it all when I visit him in a couple months, but...). The other problem is that I now live right on the freeway... background noise would make recording impossible anyway. It was fun while it lasted, though. My cousin's a musician, though, and I imagine we'll collaborate eventually as well.
