Tron's Insignia

on Tuesday, July, 09, 2013 3:38 PM
Does anyone know the origins of Tron's glowing "T" Insignia? What it means beyond a decoration-where Mr. Lisberger/Mr. Mead came up with it? I'm saving up to get a tat of it, but obviously would like to know more about it beyond just "it means Tron". Please, any information would be great.

I assume you're speaking about the 4 little squares that make up the T on his chest? It always kinda reminded me of the "T" shaped block in the game "Tetris". However, since Tetris came out after Tron, I don't think that's it. I think the T just stands for Tron, and was just a cool design they came up with
