TRON games

on Tuesday, October, 25, 2016 3:57 PM
Though I'd make a little section about the games that were made over the years.
Personally, GLTRON is my favorite. It's a PC game based on the original lightcycles, with a recognizer floating about, and the original wall art. I know TRON had an arcade game: TRON, and Environmental Discs of TRON.
I never got a chance to play the arcade games, being only the age of 15...
I have however played GLTRON, TRON 2.0, AND TRON: EVOLUTION.

I've got Armagetron somewhere...   I don't know if you have an Xbox 360, but I believe you can still get both TRON arcade games for it and play it that way!

I do have an XBOX 360. I'm selling it though, but I'm tempted to buy TRON 2.0.

You can get TRON 2.0 on Steam (on PC!)

Since you're gonna sell your Xbox 360---try this!!

Disney's site has the original arcade game in their games section. No EDOT though.

There's the url. Controls feel sorta weird, but hey. It's no arcade machine.

EDOT seems fun, only problem is not many arcades have them in Quebec. One reason why I don't like living here is no arcades around

Tron Run/r has become one of my favorite Tron games to play. It's very classic arcade style fun.
I also have Evolution for PC and 2.0.  Both were quite fun to play. Wished the multiplayer servers were active, though. I could never find another program on the grid.

Have you heard of Tank Universal? I remember playing it a long time ago and, while it is a little rough around the edges, I remember having a lot of fun with it:

A sequel just came out recently, too, it seems. Though I know nothing about it:

TRON 2.0 (PC) name - TRON.dll
I'll play any mode, but I'm best at LC.

PSN - TRON-dll
XBOX Live/Games for Windows Live - TRONdll
-I have a Wii, DS, and 3DS. PM me to exchange friend codes.

Madjack actually just posted about the sequel a few weeks ago! I don't know if he developed it, or just knew about it. When I first read the post, I assumed he was the developer. Upon re-reading, I'm not as sure of that...

Here is Madjack's thread ("Tank Universal 2 - tron-like 3d tank game")

I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^

Maybe. I know the developer of the first game is a member here (how active, I'm not sure), but he did have a similar thread when the original game came out.

Tank Universal looks interesting. i like the graphics, kinda has a hint of robotron 64 to it as well with some of the character designs.

I loved Tron 2.0 and deadly discs was heartbreaking because i've got the rom for atari but intellvision emulators are crap!
loved tron 2.0 but some of its light cycle battles were tough, tron evolution was awesome apart from its repeateative scenes but sadly the game stopped working after i completed arjia city gameplay and its light tanks were totally mind blowing. currently enjoys tron run/r (surprisingly only few has mentioned the Game) and disc of tron from (https://archive.org/details/arcade_dotron) and Space paranoids(from ENCOM)...

See You On The GRID, If I ever Got There....

Grid Is ALIVE!
