I'm just teasing. You just happened to hit on my next topic before I had revealed it.

Before I move on to my next topic in this line, I found another image tonight of Sark playing the ring game. This is a scan from a small slide, and I need to go back and get a better scan, but it's clearly Sark, he's clearly playing the ring game, and he's GREEN!

Either that's his "New Look" (Sorry. the pun was just too tempting.) or he's gone virus or he just liked the colour green at that moment. That's really strange. is this from the Xbox game or a game mod or something?

Nope, this is from the original film.

They filmed this sequence, and it must exist in black and white, and then they went through the work of coloring it. I thought he was blue in the clip, but my guess is that he was always green in this stage of filming before they dropped this sequence.

I wish there was some way for us to get ahold of a black and white version of the film with all scenes still in. Then we could see all of these sections and wonder at what else might have been.

Hey Dave,

Just curious. Where are these images coming from? Do you have these slides in your possession?

Yep. Harrison Ellenshaw has loaned me his collection to scan and add to the TRON Archive I built for Steven Lisberger. It's a digital collection of materials from the film.

How did you meet Steven Lisberger? Was it through your employment with Disney? What is he up to these days?

Steven and Richard Taylor came to BVG one day in 2003 to see TRON 2.0 in progress. They did an autograph signing session in my office which at the time was a shrine to TRON.

During the course of chatting Steven said I should come by sometime and see the items he still had from the film. I was excited at the prospect, but didn't think it would really happen. I didn't have any way to contact him directly after that day.

Then at E3 2003 he was there with Richard, Cindy Morgan and Bruce Boxleitner to sign autographs for fans, and he brought it up again. We exchanged info, and set it up.

After that we did a speaking engagement together on my birthday for a Disney Fan Group at a hotel and spent the afternoon running around California Adventure together.

I had suggested taking the physical materials he had for TRON and digitizing them onto DVDs for safe storage and easier access. Since I started the project in my spare time I have amassed over 5 GB of data in the form of scans of pictures, documents and many other items related to TRON.

Harrison Ellenshaw allowed me to add his vast archive into what I now call The TRON Archives and it's a full fledged library at this point. What we will ever do with it has yet to be determined, but the information is in there and safe Steven, Richard and Harrison get copies as I am able to make them. I am actually starting the third set this week which is long overdue.

Cindy Morgan is also contributing some materials as well. It seems to grow as I bump into other people from the film and they learn about what I have built.

I will eventually put a searchable web interface on this and we might find some uses for it in the world of film schools. Who knows?

Over the past two years we've become pretty good frieinds. We get together for lunch once in a while and exchange a lot of email. He's a great person, and I now consider him one of my best frieinds. I enjoy spending time with him.

These days he still writes, but seems to prefer being out of any spotlights. He does woodworking which you have to see to believe. He makes the most amazing bowls. I am very impressed with the artistry in them.

That's a cool story Dave. Thanks for sharing. My Brother-In-Law does wood turning also, and is pretty amazing at it. If you ever think Steven is interested in seeing some of his stuff, let me know and I can forward you some pictures.

I've done some contributing to the archive as well, Dave's done one heck of a job on it. One day I'd love to see it when it's all complete

Okay. Not one of my best jobs. But I tried to colour this as it would have been seen in the movie. With the way it turned out, I won't be doing this again any time soon...... ^^;;

Okay, newbie here. I pay little attention to the credits, so forgive me, but who the heck is Harrison Ellenshaw? My main reason for asking is, basically, why does he have all this stuff when SL doesn't? He was the associate producer, and visual effects supervisor on the film.

Harrison Ellenshaw was a big part of The Black Hole, Star Wars and many other films, as was his father Peter Ellenshaw.

He was one of the major players on TRON, producing, supervising the visual effects of the movie and probably lots of other things.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Thanks for posting the pics on Sark Dave and good luck with your T.A.P. (Tron Archive Project)

Would any of the material enter the public domain by any chance ?

I'm trying to get my head into a fan-film ( I have about 4 script scenarios that need fleshing out and some contacts who could help me make it a reality)

Am going to retrieve my 20th Anniversary edition from my neighbour (he's studying multimedia design and had never seen Tron !) to watch some of those deleted scenes again

Some of it will appear here, and some will undoubtedly appear in other projects in the future. Ultimately the most interesting pieces will become available for fans to see.

If I can be of an assistance to you feel free to get in touch. Can't promise much, but I always try to help where I can.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Not really a lost scene, but this in production still of the scene where Flynn sees TRON for the first time has something in it that doesn't belong here! Can you spot it?
