As long as it is a clear connection, there shouldn't be a problem.. I've been listening to Art Bell for years (George is the main host these days) and some of his guests are on cell. So it could work since it isn't live.
One thing I'd really like to do is a host test. Just record a sample with bumper music and a test call from one of my local friends to see if this is a possibilty and then post a small sample of it to get everyone's thoughts.
I'll see what I can do. I always wanted to do a talk show. Perhaps this is a calling that I've dismissed for a long time... or I'll fall flat on my face, giggle, grab a beer, and get on with life.

What can we add for tron-sector radio?? Okay we have so far some story for us members, Guest talks. What about tech stuff like new things happening in technology, Things with tron stuff, New programmers making tron programs like the light cycles, tanks, recos, sequal fiilms. Is there anything that we are missing? I am sure that there are a lot more stuff that we could add to it?? Lets make a list of things here. We can all distribut stuff here.

Just a quick update gang...
Tron RADIO will definately be happening. Esp now with iTunes supporting Podcasting. Awesome stuff... We know that TheReelTodd and myself will be hosting the show at this point.
BUT...
You'll have to wait a bit. *The* TronBabe (my wife) is in red alert mode with our first child. Meaning she could pop any day now. So with that, and the first few months after, I'll be a *bit* busy.
You'll hear more about BOTH topics as we have news.

I know one thing that I could be put in once we get things going called Tron Tech news. Since I love reading up on new widgets for computers. And even have Tron Classical computers corner...

What would help raise Tron awareness is enough interest by a segment of the population to make it profitable for Disney again.
For example:
For the longest time The Nightmare Before Christmas was a cult film. Very fringe... did poorly in the theaters. There was no merchandise for the longest time available anywhere.
Then a group of kids (goths) "found" the Nightmare Before Christmas and suddenly it's now profitable for Disney! This month’s Disney Catalogue had THREE PAGES dedicated to NMBC stuff.
Hot Topic now has NMBC year round, where it only used to around Halloween.
The rebirth of NMBC even gave way to a new NMBC-Type film... The Corpse Bride.. if not a direct sequel of the movie itself.
And there is supposed to be a NMBC game coming out soon…..By Capcom *sour face*
So..... we need to start a grass roots Tron movement among kids who's parents have disposable incomes enough to prod Disney into thinking that they can once again make money off of it.
Simple enough, right?

Having Byte on the show would be awesome, he was my favorite character
Regarding the sayings on Disney's profit, I totally agree. I'm hoping KH 2 raises a bit of awareness for the  movie and such, because the world is such a large part of the game
In any case I'd love to see this happening any time soon and I'll help out anyway I can

thought about the idea of having a podcast? that way you can plan out your shows and people can leave skype messages for the next cast.
Just a thought but its a way everyone can tune in with the news whatever the time zone.

ok, but how is this thing going to be started, there's a load of ideas floating around, but no structure for the episode/podcast - whatever it would be.
i don't think much is going to get done untill a structure/agenda is put in place.
