Wal-mart reset their toy aisles and Tron is still there! No clearance prices at all now... 4 pegs of deluxe, 5 rows of Core and 6 pegs for diecast as well as space for the vehicles. Sadly, the shelves sit mostly empty.

I went to a Wal Mart I hadn't been to yet yesterday. They had about 7 figures total, all series 2. Right in front was Quorra and Jarvis. They seemed to be in the middle of a restock. 
All I'm missing now is CLU, light jet, and CLU's cycle.

The toys looks pretty crappy if you ask me. They look so skewed. I would have prefereed more realistic figures. If I was to buy anything I like the Disc, and maybe wall posters or framed film-cell.
Is there a Castor figure?

We don't know that yet. It's possible that Castor could be inserted into future shipments of series 2 cases. It's also possible that series 3 comes along and he remains nowhere to be found. That's if series 3 does in fact see the light of day. There's a lot of variables right now and I wouldn't be counting any chickens before they've hatched. It wouldn't be the first time that a figure appearing on a card back never saw the light of day.

I took these pics for another forum but thought some might enjoy them here. My collection so far, most of this I've acquired since seeing the movie. When I was growing up I had the four original NECA figures, three of which are pictured. My TRON figure broke his head early on and was always carefully superglued, or more often derezzed and decapitated lol. I still have him and an original red lightcycle not pictured. I think most collectors here will recognize everything else.
Been really pleased with the line, although I agree there are some major QC issues. The 4" figures in particular have some very sloppy paint issues made more prevalent by the lights. I'm a big fan of the 8" guys/accessories, and can't wait to get my 12" Sam (already ordered from Walmart.com clearance.) A big questionable decision is both the Walmart exclusive Clu lightcycle, and the fact that they only made Clu and Sam 'battle' lightcycles so far. Kevin Flynn's lightcycle is awesome but it wasn't involved in the battle, they should have Sam, Clu, Rinzler, and the Black Guard's lightcycle like in the movie. Not enough lightcycle!
And I was lucky to find Clu's lightcycle. Walmart had already clearanced out the toy by the time I saw the movie (I always have to wait a few weeks before seeing a movie in the theater.) I would be so mad if I couldn't find that cycle, got lucky. Anyway, those are my main concerns in the line so far. I hope the rest of the planned/rumored 4" guys come out (Evolution guys, Castor, Quorra w/ head, derezzed guard, Blue Rinzler) and even more would be awesome. I really want a true TRON character, please! I also hope that Rinzler gets a 12", that Rinzler gets a light cycle (along with black guard, there should be four variants) and that Clu gets a Deluxe Disc.

Me. I've only been collecting a week and am already sad that I'm running out of things to buy 
One day, I still have faith that the user will contact us with news of new toys. Until then, programs, the cycles will pass slowly.

They need to hurry along with series 3. As of today, I have all the core figures thus far released, I've ordered a light jet, and the only thing I'm missing is CLU's lightcycle. I'm feeling a bit of a vacuum now (and my wallet is sighing in relief)

As for Castor, I agree we MUST get him! I am still holding out hope he'll show up in later assortments of Series 2!

Yeah I saw the pics on neogaf and then came here and saw them posted here, they are great pics I hope you don't mind that I was using it as an avatar, I love the style of the shots

Some action figures of the characters in their 82 costumes with the new articulation and light gimmick would be cool, and would probably generate sales to a new demographic that might not be buying Legacy.
