Supposedly until April. I worked on it!
Really, I did the light cycle races across 7 screens, plus the races on the end tag of the World Of Color, as well as a bunch of Recognizer stuff.
My user photo is a clip from that work.
And I have all three Discs, Die Casts and Core Vehicles... man I'm a geek!
And No they didn't give me anything for working on it. I had to shuffle from Target to Target with the employees looking at my sideways for the last three months to find them just like you guys.
Well, I was paid of course, I mean toy-wise. But they paid for all of the toys in effect! |
Is there any way elecTRONica can be extended? or be made to last forever? I really want to go and I thoink it's bogous how disney is going to make it a limited thing when there are other attractions waaaaaay less popular than TRON that have been around for YEEAARRS "You know you don't look a thing like your pictures?" |

Not really. Since the movie's gone from cinemas since early January (yes, it lasted less than a month here), everything is gone from the store's shelves.
The only items I've seen lately are the baton launcher and the lightcycle race set. Apart from that, nothing. One store had the basic discs (3 Sam, 2 Rinzler) but.. that's about it.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online |

Actually, we've really lucked out that it's been extended this long - it was initially supposed to shut down after the feature film's release. But luckily (maybe not so 'luckily') California Adventure is in shambles because of all the construction through May and ElecTRONica still draws a pretty good crowd into the park despite all of the retaining walls throughout.
Long story short, enjoy it while you still can! It's been bonus time since December! Troy, He Fights for the Users

Actually, you're wrong. it was a given it would last until April 2011. After wards, it MAY be given the opportunity to be extended but that's up in the air though it's probable considering the revenue it's been pulling in (posted elsewhere in the forums, these monkeys are making huge $$$ moolah this yea compared to last)

I was just at a Target outside of Houston and they had all kinds of Tron stuff. Quite a bit of it was on sale when I was there. Unfortunately it wouldn't all fit in my suitcase for the flight home :-(

Actually he's right. It was originally only supposed to run until Christmas. Then after they saw how cool it was they extended to April. I'm guessing to coincide with the DVD release.
So far I haven't heard anything about an extension beyond April. Like anything at Disneyland I'm sure anything that is successful would be considered for a longer term stay, but with all of the actors/dancers and cast member required to keep the show open I would be surprised if it lasted longer than April.

I actually work at the park and at this time they are saying April but there are rumblings that an announcement may soon be made saying it will continue till Sept.

Made trip to target was amazed to see 2 Quorra's, 2 Jarvis's one lying amongst star wars toys and 2 Sam Flynn series 2 and Clu series 2 , they had a few series 1 Sentrys and black guards more stock than usual for core figures. A bunch of Sam Flynn deluxe dics 2 Rinzlers disc and one Kevin Flynn disc. Amost picked up K Flynn disc but only a small portion of disc lit up....so I left it behind (bummer). Bunch of K Flynn light cycles, 2 light runners scuffed beyond belief. Few deluxe figures and Ultimate S flynns. Went to toys r us next, since the movie came out there tron toys were hidden and not in main toy section. No wonder they didnt sell well ? After a month of being on clearence they moved them all the way to back of store and tonight nothing was there. As we walked down starwars isle there at the end what was left of TL toys, about 12 series 1 core figures, 8 Reconizer sets, tron scooters and some deluxe figure and sam flynn dics. All clearence tags were gone and there was a price tag for the Three man light jet but the shelf was empty. Glad my headache is gone searching for that toy.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

I am still searching for the Sam + Arcade toy. I was visiting north Alabama today and scoped out a Target in Florence and Super Target in Huntsville, but neither store had them. I'm beginning to think the Ebay seller in Singapore bought them all up.

If you are patient it just might turn up at places like Ross or Big Lots for a pretty penny.

Just went to my local Walmart and Target. Neither store has appeared to restock on anything in quite a while and I'm starting to see a lot of empty shelves. Should I be worried?

The Sam I picked up today was $11 in Target. The prices here in California seem to vary from Target to Target. I've seen $10, $11, and $12. It's a bit much for a 3 inch figure, but it would likely end up costing me more in gas trying to find him for cheaper so I just bought it regardless.

That being said, as others have mentioned, I think we'll know a lot more by the end of Toy Fair next week. Heck, I think we'll know more even sooner than that at the rate that ToyNewsI and other sites are falling all over themselves to get the latest AF scoop! |
Dude's probably been laid off, just like the people who lost their jobs at my work this week. The plastics industry is in trouble right now w rising resin prices. Look at the figs on the shelf. $9 for a 3" action figure?? |
Spinmaster makes a ton off those stupid Bakugan and Beyblade toys (I work at Target and they are a huge seller) so I'm pretty sure they aren't laying people off.

The original BeyBlades were so much cooler than what they sell now. Man. Stupid, but cool.
