I agree completely. I was disappointed to see that series two consisted of only 3, later on to be 2, new figures. I (and I'm sure a lot of others) would have loved it if series two was comprised of what we were meant to get (Castor, Redeemed Tron, etc) instead of just reseeding Sam, Clu, and the rest. I really don't understand the logic, surely they knew that everyone who wanted a Rinzler had already gotten one with series one?

It's even worse because the new figures of Quorra and Jarvis are only three to a case (2 Quorras and 1 Jarvis) meaning just about the whole case is practically just more series one, creating a glut of figures we already have.

I have to agree, poor sculpt or not Kevin Flynn seems to sell. Of course I don't think he was repackaged with S2 so it may be a matter of not stocking him. But I remember after I got mine it was probably another 3 weeks before I saw another one, I remember being glad I had grabbed the one I found (and that he was in good condition.)

I saw the movie again this afternoon. The TRON and Clu shown at the beginning had me drooling. I also had a newfound appreciation for the detail in the 4" guys. They really did a good job making the light-up factor true to the movie suits. If only their discs stuck on the back they would have been just about perfect.

I want a Redeemed TRON, a Castor, a young/helmetless Clu, helmetless Quorra and some Evolution characters. I hope I'm not disappointed

Did you notice the V.I.N.C.E.N.T. action figure among Sam's toys? I think it was a neat hint at the Black Hole remake in the works.

They had quite a few interesting toy props in the scenes at Sam's bedroom.

No I didn't notice that, but I did notice the Black Hole poster. There was also a black light cycle KF style, pretty sweet.

I also noticed a couple of nice touches from the first movie that I didn't before (and have probably been discussed to death) but it was cool seeing the couches in Flynn's office. And man, how did I miss the Mattel Football game! Like others are saying, this is a movie you simply HAVE to watch at least twice. I saw it a second time a couple weeks back...and it was almost like watching another movie! The first time, I was so overwhelmed by the 3D (first time I'd seen a movie like that) and special effects that I missed a TON of other stuff. The second time...I was BLOWN AWAY! I can't believe how much stuff I missed the first time. I can't wait to own the Blu, too

I remember TROY saying the red Rinzler throwable discs are heavily stocked at California Adventure/ElecTRONica. I'd like to get a few more of those. EDIT 2/11: Well, got my 2 lightjets from TRU today. BOTH boxes are fairly 'crunched'. No packing inside the shipping box, and they have a little 'heft' to them, so whenever the shipping box was banged on the side, the weight of the jets would crunch the carton it's sold in. Nice. Called TRU, and they are sending me 2 new ones (he said they had plenty, btw). So holding out on opening anything till I get my replacements. My kids were disappointed, but at least TRU is doing the right thing.
