There's actually no real need for a petition or anything like that, this time around. It's already been announced that there's going to be another Tron sequel. (See our site's front page.)

That said, there's still no reason why folks can't start a campaign and have some fun anyway. I guess all I'm saying is: don't worry, we're getting another sequel.

Forgive me for this, but I was fairly certain that the "greenlit" news was based on hearsay and speculation, but not any official press release or statement from Disney.on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill onlineorder abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I'm excited we are having a conversation about this and are brainstorming ideas. I think there are several things we could possibly accomplish.
I think some of the bad reviews that were out there did hurt the film and I think if our efforts show Disney that there is definite love out there for what they did with Tron: Legacy it is worth it. I've noticed kids excited about Tron and last night I went into Hastings and the store had the soundtrack playing over the speaker system. I do believe people out there are excited about Tron. I hope the suits at Disney see that.
Even if a TR3N is guaranteed at this point, if they can see how people feel about it, it might help with some of the decisions that go into putting together a budget for a new film. I would hope they would make sure to have Daft Punk back and having most of the creative team and hopefully the principal lead actors.
If a sequel is teetering on the ledge of happening or not, I'd hate to find out that all that needed to happen was a little nudge. If there was a way to stoke the excitement that a lot of people already have it could boost home video sells and help Disney with their decision making. If their decision is based on home video I have to think we are in good shape. With the PG rating a lot of people will buy it for kids and home theater enthusiasts will buy it to show off their gear.
I'll be sure to post any ideas i have but I think we can do this. I think the song idea has merit for sure.

We'll find out on April 5th, won't we? That's when the Blu-ray for Legacy is being released, with a teaser announcing the next sequel.

Trust me, if WorldOutWest and Ain't-it-Cool are saying another sequel is coming, then it's coming.

This is something some HP fans did to promote Deathly Hallows. Maybe we could do something Tron-esque to promote the dvd when it comes out.

And even if Tr3n is semi-maybe-possibly announced, fans should never be to careful

Movement name ideas:
-Tron lives.
-Tr3n lives
-Keeping the Legacy alive

I do like Programs united though.

Just to play devil's advocate.

That "teaser" could just be an extra scene.. studios have shot small-scale stuff for DVD releases before. EDIT: Just went back to AICN and that footage was shot AGES ago, so it was, IMO, unlikely they were planning it as a teaser for TR3N at that point.

Also, didn't they cite THIS cite as the source for those announcements..?
EDIT: Nope, sorry, the set pics were sent direct to Harry. My bad.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Sure, they shot that footage as part of the production on Legacy to save costs. They plan these things way in advance. Then, depending on whether they decided to go ahead with another sequel, they either use it or dump it.

Harry has sources in the industry, and wouldn't post word about another sequel unless he was sure about it.

Again, we'll find out on April 5th.

I think words to Tron songs would be cool, even remixes would be cool.

As far as an announcement for TR3N, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen until Comic Con. I think they like to do that because it makes good press to say they announced it and 5,000 Hall H attendees gave each other high 5's and did back flips in the aisles and then when they show some test footage of a de-aged Tron and Yori fighting grid bugs they can say it brought the crowd to their feet, lol, Hall H makes people nuts.
I think if we don't see anything for certain when the DVD and Blu-Ray hits it shouldn't be taken as a sequel not happening.
I'm also thinking whatever we do, the big conventions should be factored into our plans, especially, SDCC, NYCC, WonderCon and maybe DragonCon as well as local conventions any of us live near.

I think it would be kind of cool if fans who want a sequel could set up something that Disney could interact with, if they chose to. A web site or network of web sites; a little Flynn Lives-like campaign of our own open to in-character responses from people existing in the Tron universe.

...Okay, it's more than a long shot, I know. Plus the time and effort it would take to come up with something like that. Still, it was a nice thought for a moment there.

(Hi, by the way. Been lurking forever, thought this was a good time to join in.)

Welcome IS.
One thing I'm wondering about is, is it worth seeking out Jay "Tron Guy" Maynard. I don't know much about him. Would his notoriety be a detriment or a help to us?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

^Hmmm...not sure.

Hey, I got another idea. Did anyone hear about the marooned piano?http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/offbeat/2011/01/26/moos.marooned.piano.cnn?iref=allsearch It's gotten a lot of publicity. What if we got a long broken down Tron arcade game and drug it out to a sandbar (or any other random place) and put a sign on it that said "out of order until Tron 3 comes out".

That would be funny. I suppose it wouldn't have to be a working model. I wonder if someone just had the cabinet if that would work. It could be this bizarre chain letter that shows up at inexplicable places and maybe travels across the country.

What we need is something like the 2007 Aqua Teen Hunger Force bomb scare without the bomb scare and the Department of Homeland Security involvement.

^Yeah. We need something big but something that doesn't upset the public.

What we need is a launch date for the grassroots campaign and a definitive idea of what we are going to do.

My suggestion for our "launch date" would be after the "Derezz the Oscars day." And maybe later today I could combine all of the ideas that everyone has come up with and then we could go over what's practical and all that jazz.

I kind of like the name "Tron Lives" for whatever we might do. It just makes me think of the blue lights flicking back on Tron's suit at the end. If any shot in the film screamed sequel that was it.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Okay, so "Tron Lives". Oh, and I think a good motto would be "keeping the legacy alive". We need a logo now, anyone out there want to give it a shot? Then after that we just need a site and the support of Tron fans here, livejournal, deviantart and everywhere.

EDIT:Should we put "Tron lives" in the thread title since I guess it's our name now?

Here's and idea how about we just make are own Tron 3. I'm sure we got enough computing power to go around and at least some decent graphical artist around here. Trust me this would definitely get Disney's attention more then anything. Of course we will probably have a lawsuit on are hands LOL.

Okay, here's all of the ideas we have right now (feel free to add more)
- What if we got a long broken down Tron arcade game and drug it out to a sandbar (or any other random place) and put a sign on it that said "out of order until Tron 3 comes out".
-Letter writing campaign from "Tron lives" members.
-Host a panel of Scientists/Computer programers to talk about ISOs.
-Build a lightcycle a la "Appamobile" (obviously it wouldn't have a light-trail or go fast but still) and paint Tron 3 on it and ride it all over the country.
-Have someone BASE jump with either Tron 3 or Sam's 89 logo on their parachute and possibly wearing a Tron inspired jumpsuit..
-Get Tron Guy to make a legacy type suit and make videos calling for a Tron 3.
-The ultimate Tron fan CD.
-Fan trailers, Fan posters, etc.
-Have a national glow in the dark/light up clothes day.
-A universal sci-fi fandom appreciation day by teaming up with the 501st legion, Star Trek fans, Battlestar Gallactica fans, Dr. Who fans etc. and just raise awareness about things like Tron 3, Han shot first etc.
-Tr3n slogans as Facebook Statuses andTweets.

Did I forget any of them? And I know some of them are a bit out there, but it never hurts to brainstorm right? The goal is to be practical, professional and effective with what we do.
