Apart from the Sam Flynn Light Cycle one at the start (which has the word TRON written on it in big letters) I chose the others purely for their subtle low-key emphasis towards the franchise.
It's like all these secret cults and organisations, like the Freemasons or the Iluminati-theres all manner of books and TV shows and stuff on the internet about them, like strange handshakes, hidden symbols (like the shining eye in the pyramid on doller bills, which I've heard means something), etc.
And although I wont think of Tron as a secret cult, the same principles can be quite fun to apply to it.
Eg, that Encom sweatshirt I've got-if someone who hasn't seen the films (which I would imagine there would be quite a few) was to see me walking around with it on they probably wouldn't think much of it, and probably think it was just some corporate logo and nothing else.
BUT, if another Tron fan was to see this, they would smile to themselves and think "Ah! I know EXACTLY what that means!"

I also applied the same technique to my cell phone. This is the wallpaper I often use on my cell phone screen:

Again, if some one else was to pick up my cellphone and look at it they think that it's just a nice picture of a blue circle and nothing else, BUT if a Tron fan was to pick it up and look at it they'll know what it really means.
It's the whole HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT idea that I find so appealing-for me images like this are the Tron equlivient to the secret handshake or the eye-pyramind-on-dollar-bill ideas.

Speaking of subtle, in the episode The Renegade: Part 1, in the scene where Beck and Cutler were talking in the holding cell just before the games, did anyone spot that cool sign Cutler did with his hands?

Or the newest "Tron sign/signal" that showed on "The Stranger" when Cyrus did it. Crossing your arms, with the upper arm having the three T Squares, and the lower arm having the single, centered sqaure. I actually thought that was pretty cool too...

Today I got the green Xbox Tron controller I'd been drooling over for so long. It's number 721/750. I've got to say, it certainly does look more impressive in real life than the pictures have to offer. The light is clean and very bright. Each handle has a rubber hexagon-patterned grip, and the whole controller fits well in my hands

Was at Wal-Mart tonight and saw a couple Deluxe Clu lightcycles in the clearance section. I was surprised-- Wal-Mart was the store that seemed to phase out its Tron stuff first, well before the others, so these must've been in some deep-dark corner of the stock room.

I was also sort of surprised that they were still 9 bucks... you found two toys in the back, from a movie that came out more than two years ago, a movie whose toys you pulled off the shelves while other stores at least still had them on clearance, and you still have them marked only half off? I worked out Wal-Mart a few years ago. Their idea of "clearance" on a $10.00 item would have been $1.00 - $2.00 dollars off.

Big Lots has Tron Legacy items for at least half the original price.

TRON items I have purchased in the past include Kevin & Sam's light cycles (both the toys as well as the USBs), and the Disney Junior Novel. And today, the UPRISING soundtrack arrived in the mail.

Would have loved if Disney had released any action figures from the animated series.
