Well, I'm headed out to Marshalls and Burlington tomorrow anyway, maybe TJ Maxx too, so I guess I'll take a look around. Those places don't generally carry much in the way of toys though, I don't think. I'd love to find some of the more collectible items, like die-cast figurines of the vessels in the film. I don't really collect action figures anymore. Nice t shirts would be cool, and I'd love a Flynn's one. Everywhere I've been has no disks, and I want one of the ones that light up and have motion activated sound. Any tips, people?

I was afraid someone would suggest that, since I no longer use paypal. Stores are nice cuz you pick it up, no shipping and immediate gratification. I just ordered the Art of book and Tron: Betrayal, and that week and a half felt like forever!

Target now has Ultimate Figures on sale for $20 through March 19. Looks like they are price matching Ross.

That's interesting. I noticed my S2 Clu 4" didn't come with a katana (my S1 has one though.)
I wish we could get little details like this in the toy master list thread. It seems unreal that we have this many people here collecting the toys but no one realized until a day or two ago that S2 Sam 4" may have painted hands.

Just checked the UK Disney Store online and they've put a 25% off notice on all the Tron toys.
Grab em while you can cos it's the end of the line!

Toys 'R Us has a nice variety of TRON: LEGACY items up for a few days on ebay for "buy it now" purchasing directly through them (with multiples of each currently available) -- including the hard-to-find 3 Man Light Jet (5 of these were sold in the past couple of hours - now only 6 left) and 12 inch Ultimate CLU Action Figure - here's the link for their ebay TRON listings:

Thanks for the tip, Mr. Sci-fi. I went to the local Ross yesterday and found an Ultimate CLU for 19.99. I had already received Ultimate Sam as a gift from my sister.

Not a clearance store but I was at an out of town Target today (Atlanta GA) and they had the Recognizer playset on clearance for $5.
Pretty nice for $5. It was a Target clearance (multiple clearance stickers on it) so eventually it should work its way through the whole chain. I haven't seen any Recognizers hit clearance at my local Targets yet.

They don't suck that bad, from what I've seen.
$24.98 each for Ultimate Sam/Clu? Not bad compared to $39.99 (normal price).
Kevin Flynn light cycle: $9.98 compared to $14.99.
Throwable disc: $5.98 compared to $7.99.
Deluxe disc: $12.98 compared to $19.99.
So a few good looking deals in there...especially if you can't get the stuff anywhere else. Guaranteed, the prices for all those things will be much higher anywhere else on Ebay. Plus, if something is wrong, you can return the stuff to a TRU store.
No, I don't work for TRU...just did a little homework on their Ebay setup.
The only thing that totally sucketh (well 2 things) = state tax (where applicable), and they don't combine shipping (which ROYALLY sucketh if you're buying more than 1 thing from them).
I see the TRU Ebay store as a good option to obtain SOME of the TRON toys at fair prices, instead of full retail. Especially since stock is dwindling almost everywhere else. If you can get it cheaper somewhere else, great. I had to use TRU for the Ultimate Clu. No other option for me...and trust me...I visited a TON of stores in my area the other night...and I came home with ONE Clu...and in only 'fair' shape at that. I'm still waiitng for Big Lots... I need a few CLUs, Sams, and maybe a Rinzler so I can do my Classic Tron core customs.
I went to a Ross today, and they had some 6"... I was thinking of getting a Rinzler, but the one they had had been gutted. The katana and staff nd one of the discs had been swiped. Rrrrg.

On my trip this weekend I checked two Pac Sun outlet stores for some of the Hurley stuff but neither store had any. I live an hour away from the closest one so unless someone posts finding Hurley stuff there I probably won't check again.

You won't find the Hurley stuff in the stores any more. Most sent their leftover stock back to Hurley in early to mid January. Very little of it is still at the online store either. I ordered a TRON hat and the short sleeve suit shirt and all they could send me was the hat. I was forced to order a short sleeve suit shirt off Ebay for about 2 dollars more. So if you are looking for Hurley TRON clothing, it would be best to call them first using their customer service number 888-267-3867 to see if they still have what you desire in stock. Failing that, then Ebay would probably be your only resort. I don't even know if they had enough stock left over to send to the outlet shops.
