Nothing at Party City, but I found cool printables at the "Disney Family Fun" site.

I Want a T-Shirt!
I've seen quite a few novelty T-shirts in the shops-Back to the Future, Batman, Superman, the Muppets, etc.
I thought of two designs-white with various blue stripes/patterns on it (like the suits in the original film), or the same design but black with a white pattern on it (like the suits worn by Sam & Quorra).

I would say a line of computer cases, although that isn't very Disney-y of them.
I do think a big lego set of the arcade would have been cool. Maybe a re-release of the original arcade game and discs of tron as a downloadable to a mobile device.
Tron-o's! You can't survive a day on the gird without a good breakfast! Now with marshmallow Bits!

I still wish they made the tron case for iPad. That was totally a miss and a half.
Quorra figure without the helmet. 12" at least
Castor figure (a decent one)--12" at least (sorry, I do like the bigger figures)--and have him talk....ooooo I designed this you know. It's true......
Better shirts that glow.
More stuff for women like shirts and jackets. Perhaps a tron disc necklace that lights up.
Costumes. (I'm sure that'll be in the works, but some quality ones, please)
Hot wheels glow in the dark track with racing light cycles (okay, that's a little off the wall, but hey....that's me....a big big kid)
That's all I can think of for now

They have tons of TL party supplies on ebay ( http://goo.gl/emISb). I don't think that Keyboard is going to see the light of day. I have a feeling they tested the waters with the mouse and they under-performed. Case in point: They've had the mouse on Amazon for a couple months now and there's only been 2 reviews.

People have been looking for this thread. People: Google is your friend.
That's how I've found every thread I've ever looked for.
Here's an example.
Google this: "Hello" : Tron sector
with the quotation marks around "hello" included. The quotation marks designate a specific term you're looking for, and the colon designates the site you want to search for that term in.
googling the above should give you this http://www.tron-sector.com/forums/default.aspx?a=top&id=322403
and this http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=%22hello%22+:+Tron+sector&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8

Resurrecting an old thread because I realized another one the other day: I want a Tron coloring book, dammit. Probably T82, though I wouldn't complain about having one for both films.
(And, of course, as I've said before: I totally want a flash drive that looks like Sam's memory disk at the end of the film. DUH people; how did you miss out on so many obvious ones???)
(I was also very disappointed by how little Tron stuff Thinkgeek put out. If I had a dollar for every computer geek who said "Tron was what got me interested in computers," I could buy the damn Grid. So you can't tell me there wouldn't be marketing potential there. I know it's probably all about licensing and stuff, but they had a few Tron-themed things, so why not more? [but I know very little about corporate/marketing/copyright law, so maybe there's some practical explanation on what they could afford/get permission to license/reproduce])
What do you want? I'm busy.
Program, please!
Chaos.... good news. |
