New limited edition TRON controller for XBOX 360 - Ice Blue color variant

This is a near white/blue color variant of the XBOX 360 controller with which some of you may already be familiar.

I understand this message might make me look like a corporate shill since I have a low post count... however, I know that the orange LED-color "CLU" version of the XBOX 360 controller sold out so fast (250 pieces I think?) that it was gone before most of us even knew it existed, and that just SUCKED.

BTW these are limited to 350 pieces, and the cheapest price on Amazon for the regular Blue one is $136 (and that has 20k pieces.)

Yeah these work great on the PC. I used my standard one on Tron Evolution PC to beat it, works with no configuration on Vista/7 systems but it also works on XP.

I'd buy one, but they don't ship to Canada. They only ship within the US.

I'm not 100% sure if I'd really want it though as I like the Blue version more.

I guess I'd get it for a collectable only.

Funny you mention that. My replacement controller arrived from PDP yesterday. I'm not going to use it though, knowing how cheaply these are made so in the box it will stay.

Mine completely fell apart after 4 months of use. Sent it back and they sent me a new one. From what I've read the PS3 controllers are crap compared to the 360 controllers.

Just tried. Oh well. I do have the blue one at least. How are the ones for the Wii? My son has a Wii.

Actually it 's funny you mentioned that.

I had originally bought mine on eBay for $80 new a couple of months ago, but then a Gamestop in my area **happened** to get one in (even after they said they were completely sold out) shortly after I had received it. Even the staff at the Gamestop were surprised they got one in. That one was $49.99 so I picked it up right away, so now I have 2. I decided to use one and keep the other as a collectible.

Just keep checking EB Games/Gamestop's. One might turn up.

I also have one for the PS3 and the Wii. The Wii version is my favorite, followed by the 360 version. My least favorite is the PS3 version as yes it's crap compared to the other two.

Argh I didn't manage to get one in time! I'm sure some ebayers bought like 10 of these to resell for over $300 each.
