Okay, so I have a theory about the timeline between the movies

1982- TRON
1983- TRON Betrayal p.1
1984- TRON Evolution DS
1985- TRON Evolution PSP
1986-1987- TRON Betrayal p. 2
1988- TRON Evolution Battle Grids
1989- TRON Evolution
1990-2010- TRON Uprising
2010- TRON Legacy

Does this make sense? I'm trying to come up with something conclusive
I've done a LOT of research into making the timeline make sense and theres some things i want to get more clarity on.

I know the "official" game timeline says that the PSP game takes place in 1989 and that evolution starts in 1990. But Flynn clearly disappears in 1989, so I'd take the word of the movie over a timeline. Also the PSP game specifically states that it's 1985 when it takes place.

Now the thing I can't quite place is the DS game. My best theories state that it should take place in 1984 because the grid no longer would have the threat of Taneas, and the standing of the system monitor would have been verified. Flynn would see what monitors could do and therefore start development on the Anon program, putting Beta into the system around 1985 to test the workings of it. Now assuming that Anon is another test, we can assume that he's uploaded in TC301 (1989).

Now TC294 would be after 1988, most likely in early 1989 or late 88. That's when Jalen got turned in to Abraxas.
Another thing is that Radio and Ophelia ARE the exact same person.
I have substantial proof to back up this claim.
anyway, any discrepencies with my theories, PLEASE talk to me about them. Nobody else knows enough to help me.

I assume that your theory on Tron Uprising is correct. Tron was battle weary, plus I think Flynn wanted to give him a place kinda like Clu in running the system. At that point he had somewhat started to see the flaws Clu had in his reasoning, I think.
That's just my opinion on that one.

But in the flashback scene, I heard they were discussing Flynn cutting it too close on making it back to the portal. Betrayal suggests they COULD be talking about Clu, but Flynn constantly says he trusts Clu, even though it would make sense that he'd see something wrong.
