It all started in February, I went to the movies to see Tron Legacy. After that, I was a major Tron fan. I started talking about Tron in my class, nobody cared, all they were into was Pokemon which sucks. Everytime I talked about Tron, ot drived people nuts! So I decided to find a place everyone liked Tron. I found Tron-Sector. I joined the second I could, In May. So far I've been having a blast here. I hope that next year, my class likes Tron!

Me too! I love talking Tron and no else does. At least with Heroes, there were a few other fans at work but now, no Tron fans. :-(
Forget it, Mr High and Mighty Master Control. You aren't making me talk.

So true. It's amazing how many folks don't know anything about Tron. On my days off I will go up to work in my Tron hoodie or t-shirt to get my check, and they are all like, "what is that" LoL Even when I explain they are still all "huh?"
At least my folks are Tron fans and know what it is.
I joined here as well because no one else I knew outside of family knows what the heck Tron is. I have met so many nice Tron fans here, I am so happy that I have found this place. You are in good company Hopefully I will find some in SC order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill End of Line.

Dude, I so had no clue before my partner got all geeky over T:L. I mean, I think I vaguely remember the posters and such from the 80s, but I never paid it much mind. Not the family "culture" I grew up in. i'll think you crawled out from under a rock if you can't quote Young Frankenstein or don't know who wrote the "Four Seasons" concertos, but Tron? Nope, had no idea.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I'm going to try to keep this short (which is hard for me to do, LOL): It all started for me back in '82, when I sat mesmerized in a darkened Richardson, TX movie theater watching TRON with my Dad. Ever since that day, I've been perpetually astounded and thirsty for anything and everything TRON (except for that parody that came out, but that's another story entirely), especially any places on the internet that would satiate my hunger for the wonderful TRONiverse that Steven Lisberger and Bonnie MacBird had created for us. I've amassed a collection of some TRON stuff, though not as cool and exhaustive as DAVETron's. Wish I had the connections and means that he has.
Anyway, the year 2008 became a pivotal point for me - after searching online for years for a good place for TRONophiles to congregate, and after seeing the leaked footage from COMIC-CON, I decided to join Tron-Sector. Before that time, I'd visited Tron-Sector many times, checking out its content, only as a visitor. July 2008 I logged on, created my account and started contributing to the discussion boards - and ever since then, I've been like a kid in a candy store-the kind that still wants to sample ALL the candy when the store is closing, LOL!!!!!!!
As far as others who don't get it, I've tried several times to explain TRON to them, using stories such as the story of the Son of Man, "Wizard of Oz", and "Spartacus", as well as certain historical eras, to explain it. In the end, there will always be a ton of people who REFUSE to open their minds enough to understand and respect what science fiction is trying to tell us, and those who will REFUSE to see science fiction as a respectable, viable type of literary and cinematic contribution, especially that of TRON. In the end, that's okay, because it means more TRON stuff for us that genuinely enjoy and understand it, and when I get the chance, I'll contribute my fanfic, which has been extremely slow in development, as well as a short documentary on the disappearing line between sci fi and reality. Thanks Tron-Sector.
Best Regards,

My father and I grew up watching Tron.
I used have an old video player
and TV in some back room.
And some 80s machine called Vextrex.
Me and my buddies would watch Tron all night long
eating popcorn..
just having a great time back there.
Those were really the best days of my life.
I mean we had no internet or computers back then.
But we had Tron..
and we have 80s video games baby!
And Yes I joined this site many years ago..
because Tron rocks! "I want him in the games until he dies playing" -MCP

Yeah 80s video games! My dad got "me" an Atari when I was a year old. I still remember a couple of my favorite games...something about roping calves, and another about the three little pigs trying to build a house before the wolf came and blew it away. Good times.
I joined here because after T:L I had a lot of questions...found this place... lo and behold, looked at all the threads and someone had already asked every single one, lol. Apparently they were the same questions everybody had.
And now I'm sadly hooked. What do you want? I'm busy.

@Kat: I had that one too about the pigs, think it was called "Oink" or something like that LOL My fave Atari games were Tron Deadly Discs (used to play it with my dad) and the Pitfall games. I still have all my stuff in boxes which I am leaving boxed up as I am about to move yet again
I still even have my reeeally old Comadore 64 system with games boxed up. Once we move I wanna hook everything back up again in our Office/playroom. I miss those old games End of Line.
