I'm not willing to invest in too much conjecture about why he isn't publicly involved yet. All we know is he isn't, it could go either way, and the only thing that will change my mind is if someone official announces it in unambiguous terms.

I totally agree. It will do us a whole lot more good to be hopeful and optimistic about all of this. Especially, since no one has officially come out and said no, its never happening. No, The Asylum's movies are super-low budget action films that are either incredibly stupid ideas (Megashark vs. Giant Octopus, Mega Piranha, Sharktopus) or really bad ripoffs of big budget movies (Snakes on a Train, Transmorphers, Transmorphers 2: Fall of Man (which starred Bruce Boxleitner)).
