This, pretty much. Every time i see one of these threads I think there's actually news. Then I find out it's just another "so when's it coming out?" thread, with the same replies of what Kosinski's doing now and "but Bruce said..." usually with someone chiming in with "but Bruce isn't the official voice and he got in trouble for saying..." and sometimes that devolves into a downright argument, especially if someone says "but do we even know there's going to BE another film?" and then sometimes we get links to other interviews too and...
But in the end, what it comes down to is: we don't know. Maybe we could have ONE thread for news of the next film and discuss it all there, rather than creating new ones??
