I made a backup of my original to keep from scratching the disk... and only planed to watch it to see if it copied right... and I ended up watching the whole movie..

Ok.. so let me make this very clear. I own the 20th Anniversary DVD. I made a backup so that I don't scratch the disc. I also own another but it's still in plastic and that one isn't ever going to be opened.

To anyone new to the sector... do NOT ask me or anyone to provide pirated copies of movies or software regardless (or even information). It is illegal and unethical in terms of the persona of this sector and no one here wants to have that type of reputation.

Saw TRON about a week ago as I was trying to fix a Commodore portable.

When I watched this movie, I think as a kid I took for granted that sure, there is TRON, they are in this computer, and they fight with discs and all is cool.

As a adult I tried to see the world of TRON through Flynn's eyes. Nothing out of the oridinary, just the idea that rather than watching and going "Oh man I could hang around here forever", to "Oh hell, how do I get out of here?"

Solar Sailors... kinda neat. Took that for granted to, but not the usual mode of transportation on that world I came to realize. A stolen prototype.

Clu knocked out what? 8.. 12 recognizers before biting the big one? Not bad!

Wish Bit could have been around more.

Warrior (with the stun rods) have armor, but why? It didn't help much against TRON's disc.

You know, if I had the solution to the world on a disc, I don't know if I would want it possibly scratched in a disc battle. :P

Watched it last weekend. Still love it. I like it's hints at a facist regime ruling over the people, and just Flynn, Tron, Ram, then Yori are the underdogs that fight against that Fascist rule of the MCP.
And long before SkyNet in "Terminator" and "The AI" in "The Matrix" backstory of taking over the world in those films, the MCP was already planning it in TRON.

Bigbang, tron.dll is right. The pirate bay was raided and its owners thrown in jail. It is inevitably back up because different people have reopened it. The existence of it does not make it legal though.
