A short cameo with Lora could ge something like this:

It's Encom, late at night, Lora comes into Alan's office asking if he's ready to go home.
Alan says "just about", he mentions that he may finally have a lead on tracking down the 'mark 2 digitizing laser' that turned up missing 20 yrs ago.

Lora says with a slightly suspisious look on her face
"oh.. yeah.. that was my life's work, it'd be good to find out who..um..could have stolen such an advanced piece of technology..."

Just then, Alan's old pager beeps...and he goes to lift it up to read it, it's little LED screen reads "665-222-5551 Flynn's Arcade" Alan says "what the hell?..." fade to black....

Short, sweet just under 1 min scene that's it, it fits the story and would NOT ruin it's integrity at all IMO.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

I'm split both ways about Ms. Morgan appearing in Legacy. It would be cool to see her in a cameo (and after Yori Lives and the success of her appearance at San Fran, that's likely a possibility). However you risk the chance of it coming fan service. That being said, I'm happy that Lora is still alive and I have a lot of faith in the writers that if she does appear that her cameo would not be awkward.

I agree that cameo would be pretty cool, ShadowDragon.

Now, theflynnabides, I don't think what Randy said was childish, but I will admit that the campaign is near the end of its life and all we can really do now is hope. I'm 100% sure that Disney got the message.

Switching back on topic now...

...at first I was a little concerned about reshoots this late in production. But, getting Brad Bird, David Fincher, Michael Arndt and John Lasseter involved got me really excited about the story for this movie. We got some writers here with some serious credentials, not to mention the two writers from Lost as well. Really looking forward to this movie now, even more so than before. I didn't think that was possible!

I'm sure that's sarcasm.

Ya it was, but I forgot that sarcasm is met with hostility on this board. Don't make the same mistake.

Hey Imbroglio,

Sorry about calling you a troll earlier. That was uncalled for.

Anyways, if you wanna denote that your using sarcasm, be sure to use a winking smiley face or something like that. For example:

A lot can be filmed in a short time. Lora's/Yori's appearance wouldn't necessarily have to be reduced to 20-second jarring/misplaced fan-service.

I just hope the re-shoots don't introduce a number of weird continuity errors. And hope involvement from the Pixar guy doeesn't make the film more childish (less adult-oriented). I like Toy Story as much as the next person, but wouldn't want Bit or Byte becoming a cartoony comic relief Jar Jar Binks type of character to try and help make the film more loveable from a childish cuddly perspective, for instance.

Please refer to the previous discussion on sarcasm denotation.

Or watch The Incredibles. Pixar isn't just kiddie stuff, they really know how to push an emotional story. Yeah, Traahn, I hope you were being sarcastic, lol.

But yeah, Theflynnabides and Tron.dll, I totally agree with ya: Iron Giant, The Incredibles and Toy Story 3 are not children films...they're for everyone. Heck, I cried at the end of Toy Story 3.

Just because it's animation doesn't mean it's just for kids or it's all rainbows and lollipops.

Lasseter, Bird, and Fincher have 4 movies between the 3 of them that are in my top 10, I'm so glad Kosinski reached out to these men for pointers.

And The Iron Giant is my favourite animated film that I've seen, it's the only one that's made me shed man-tears (asides from Toy Story 3, but that was more nostalgiac factor than anything).order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

I think it's really awesome that PIXAR is having a hand in this. After all, the lightcycle sequence was the very first CGI animation that John Lasseter had ever seen (and inspired him to join PIXAR) and Brad Bird was an animator on Steven Lisberger's 1980 film "Animalympics".where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

And that is something I've been arguing about for almost a decade to a couple of relatives of mine. LOL. Not to be serious or anything.

I had no idea that they were doing reshoots. It's interesting that they were able to go back and do some additional work on the movie.

I'm cold and calculating. Don't press my buttons.

The only animated films that ever evoked an emotional response from me was the ending of "Macross: Do You Remember Love", and one part of "UP", the part that shows what happened to the old man's wife.. and that's about it.

But it's good thing that Brad bird and others put in their input, a story with pathos and a strong human aspect helps to build a story with some depth on a human level to compliment it's other more philospical aspects.
Like I said, this bodes very well.

I still reject some people's criticism that the original Tron "lacked any human emotion"...
yeah Ram, basically a boy forced to be a gladiator on the game grid.. yeah he didn't show fear or elation when he was about to die, and he didn't die, he just turned into a butterfly! riiiight?.*sarcasm*

Also Tron and Yori just pretended to have affection and a bond with each other yeah not a hint of love there! *sarcasm*... oh Sark never showed anger, or a ruthless and sadistic nature.. not at all! *sarcasm*

Theflynnabides Wrote:Yea, but man, you gotta understand, the script didn't call for her OR Yori, so putting Cindy in there would be absolutely useless and would come off looking like bad fan fiction.

And Kosinski said it himself that just because Yori isn't in Legacy, doesn't mean she isn't in the Tron universe still, so wait for the video game or the inevitable sequel, where she'll no doubt make an appearance or end up being a pretty big character.

The script was just reviewed by some of the most, if not THE most respected directors in the business, but you're still crying foul because Cindy isn't in it? Honestly, that's pretty childish.

There's 5 and a half months to go, the re-shoots should take about a week or two, just let it go, it's not happening, and if it does, it'll be really jarring and misplaced like most fan-services usually are (see Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut, or hell, the theatrical version!).

It's integrity for the storyline vs. What a somewhat average size of a fanbase wants. If I were kosinski, I'd go with the former.

It always seemed odd to me that Yori wasn't included in TL, seeing as how she was part of the digitisation sequence in the original film (watch the Orange sequence and on the right it says:

Key: YORI
ROM: YORI

OTOH, if thousands of years have passed in the electronic universe, she could have been replaced. Or upgraded beyond recognition. Heck, even in the real world, how many utility apps that were created twenty eight years ago are still being used today?

(Answer: Only legacy software! AAAAAAAAAH-hahahahahahahaha! Oh, that's funny. I'm funny.)

Right. I'll get my coat.

I'm pretty sure the article specifically said that the only thing Pixar was doing was trying to make the script more emotional. That does not mean it's going to be lighter or a kiddie movie or anything.

SPOILER... Mouse Over To Read:
The scene described in the latest trailer where we see young Sam sitting in his bed with his father may be an example of a scene Pixar worked on.

Just because Pixar make's cute and bubble CGI movies, doesn't mean John Lasseter's aim is to make the ENTIRE movie cute and bubbly, or even 1% of it.

Lasseter and Bird probably worked on the live action scenes, and Fincher, along with the Lost writers, probably helped with the mystery elements of the film, and things such as pacing, timing, crucial dialogue, which are all important things in a mystery movie, which this most certainly will be.

Just don't worry Traahn! everything we've seen so far has been stellar, Kosinski knows what he's doing!

I can't wait to see what Kosinski is able to do with feature-length films. Might be a breath of fresh air into the industry.

There's no denying the effort Disney and Kosinski are putting into this. I hope you're right!
