did a sweep of the stores in birmingham again today. target in hoover had a few series 2 repacks of the series 1 figures, no quorra or jarvis or flynn or rinzler discs but they did have series 2 stuff. target in trussville, had about 5 one man light jets and 4 quorras and two jarvis, 3 k flynn white dics and about 4 rinzler discs as well as some of the other repacks of series one core figures. the core vehicals were also on sale for 13.99 so i did pick up a light jet and another quorra. toysrus in hoover had no series 2 but did have bout half dozen kevin flynn white core figures and i did find a clu with a packaging varient. on the package where its round and has a sticker that says figure lights up, it instead had a round sticker of clu on it. it was a series 1 package too so i dunno why it was different from the others but thought it was interesting. anyways thats the local roundup for today here in alabama

Went to a local Wal-Mart last night and lucked out by finding the die-cast 1-man and 3-man light jets, as well as the grid limo. I was in Target today in Ithaca NY and they didn't have any series 2 toys out.

Was at the Mall of America today and stopped by the Disney Store to see what they had. It looked like a tornado hit the section. They were sold out of a bunch of stuff and I asked the worker if they would be getting more TRON stuff in. She asked specifically what I was looking for, and I just I had a general interest in all the merchandise and if this "was it" for the section, or if their push was over. She said 'Oh no, we are getting in a bunch more stuff soon". I asked if TRON was selling well overall, and she replied "Yes, very much so!".
So good news?

Disney Shopping Update I received nonsensical answer. Basically, yes the item numbers are different and figures are different. My theory is these figures were re purposed to series 2 as it says it on package. I ordered Quorra and did receive that figure. So if you are looking to order for either Jarvis or Quorra you will most likely get those figures.

So are they going to send you the correct ones now? I'm still waiting on mine, but if they did the same thing to me, I'll have to do what you've done. Anyone else order these and get them yet?

I don't believe they have them. Spin Master probably reshuffled the wave much like ]Castro[/s Castor being pushed to Series 3.

I dunno. I mean, they have different numbers and all. I think they are there or will be there at some point.

So, were they saying you actually received the new figures or that they sent the wrong ones?
The thing I love is that even though they've received complaints... IF these figures ARE incorrectly pictured.... they still have the wrong figures up on Amazon and on their own site.
I just think it's too big a coincidence that at the same time they got Series 2 figures (Quorra, Jarvis) in they got these new figures in and listed them separately. Were the figures you got on Series 2 cards? I'm wondering if these just aren't the Series 2 figures but they put the wrong images with them... or maybe these WERE variants that were going to be in Series 2 but were pushed back. Who knows. I just hope they don't give me any trouble. And I'm not paying to ship these things back to them. Hmph.

That way you just go in, tell them they are holding something for you and pay it. Then you're on your merry way, fighting crime or what have you |

Learned a valuable lesson tonight. Drove to a far away Target after calling and verifying they had 'lots' of the white Kevin Flynn Deluxe Identity Discs in stock! She even pointed me to the website to make sure we were on the same page. We talked about DPCI numbers and how all 3 discs share the same number, and she said when I came it was no problem for them to sort them out.
Drove tonight on icy roads (had to clear 2 inches of snow off my car first) to Target. Walked up to the section...and my heart sank. Had my boy with me, and I think I heard his hit the floor. I immediately grabbed an employee in the area. He scanned the shelf sticker and he said they had more in the back. -insert skepticism-
He came back with a box partially full of the discs. He pulled out ONE white disc and TWO Rinzlers (which the girl on the phone said they didn't have!). I grabbed them all, paid and left. Partially bust, partially boon, I guess. I really wanted more white discs. The Rinzlers were unexpected, though. Sigh.
Next time will be different. I will MAKE the employee READ ME BACK THE UPC ON THE BACK OF THE PACKAGE BEFORE HEADING TO A STORE!
I did see one Series 2 item there: Jarvis. But I couldn't remember if that was rare or not, so I left it -.-
Regardless, I was PO'ed. I guess I should be grateful. It's hard, though. My expectations were REALLY high...and the girl I talked to was SURE. Uh huh...next time.
