RE: Toys Found at Retail

I was really hoping they'd use the 3 man jet as an opportunity to give us a non-articulated figure or two with swappable helmetless Sam and/or Quorra heads, so I'm kind of disappointed it doesn't come with anything. I think the helmetless heads are in demand enough that they could have helped Spinmasters to sell more of these to people who might not be interested in just the jet itself.

Despite it's problems I'd have bought it in a heartbeat if it included something like that, but a poorly utilized light feature, non folding wings, and no type of landing gear is enough to make me pass for now. Perhaps if there's a good sale on it in the future I'll budge, but I just feel they cut too many corners. I'd rather pay more for a complete toy than pay less and have all these things lacking.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Just liked the design of the three man jet, and it is the only toy in the Tron line that holds more than two figures.

Now if they can just make a tank for the core figures...

Oh I've been meaning to ask, I've heard there's two Clu figures, one is more yellow and the other is oranger. Which series is which, and which one is movie accurate?

THAT is something I would buy in a heartbeat. Would also love a light cycle for Rinzler and Clu's Sentry. I know Clu's has a different design, but does anyone know if the Sentry and Rinzler's are the same as Sam's? According to the die casts it looks as if the Sentry's is. I guess worse case scenario you could buy extra Sam cycles and repaint them, but it'd be nice if they made them complete with non-posable figures that are actually looking forward.

New to the forum as of today (long time lurker), but wanted to post a few thoughts on the 3-man light jet.

Found this at TRU last night thanks to the tireless reporting on this site, but in the end actually passed on it. Although I have 90% of the vehicles and product that Spinmaster has put out for the movie thus far, I just couldn't see spending nearly 30 *more* dollars for this vehicle. And thanks to the reports that are coming in re: the lighting feature, etc. not working all that well, I'm actually glad I did pass it up.

My favorite vehicle thus far has to be the light runner. Granted, I can't speak to how well (or not) figures fit into the cab as I honestly have yet to try out this feature, but I get a huge kick out of pushing the light feature button and watching that pulse of light run back and forth along the cab.

Lastly, like some I've taken to modifying some of the 3 3/4" figures to make them helmetless. No pics currently (sorry) but it's been fun taking GI Joe heads and with a minor tweak and some paint apps here and there, turn them into what they should have been all along. Hopefully at some point Spinmaster will get around to Series 3, because these are great, but there are more versions yet needed.where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

Yes there is a paint variation on Clu. The one is series 2 is actually "golder" not "oranger" since Clu is yellow not orange like the sentries. I would love for Spin Master to make a variant orange Rinzler light cycle.

Had to make a short trip for work yesterday and stopped in a Wal-Mart I'd never been in before. Finally found the Clu light cycle and it was on sale for $13. The shelf didn't show the sale so it was a pleasant surprise when I checked out.

The Rinzler disks are at practically every Target I go to, so I'm somewhat surprised you can't find them. Okay, Kevin Flynn disk may be more difficult to track down, but certainly not impossible, and Target appears to be the place to check,

I am sure this has been menioned before. What are the differences in the series 2 vs series 1 of the recognizer, light cycles, etc, the ones that are the same from Series 1. Is it worth is to purchase these as well? Even if the only difference is on the card "Series 2"? The same for all the character toys as well.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pillabortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Well, as with Star Wars and many other franchises, the series 1 end up being the more desirable, and later waves/series/collections recards aren't quite as valuable. That may be the case here as well.

No finds today.

I did, however, meet the cutest little kid shopping for Tron toys at Target. He was wearing a CLU hat, so I wanted to watch him look at the toys. He picked up the Jarvis figure, "I haven't seen this one." He turned it over to look at the back of the card and totally FLIPPED OUT when he saw the Caster figure. "THEY MADE A CASTOR!!!"

It was at this point that I introduced myself to him and his dad, showing my elecTRONica hoodie as a way of saying I was one of them. I mean, I knew these things were selling in Florida, but I had never seen another honest to goodness fan. This kid was sharp! So much of what we say here about the line he was saying. 'Why did they give the big black gaurd the wings but not the small one?"

He also was musing about the movie, saying he knows Daft Punk survived the explosion because there was no music playing in the club at the time. How awesome is this kid?

He also expressed confusion as to why his dad's favorite character was Quorra. I shared a knowing glance with the kid's pop. His favorite he said was Rinzler. ("I KNEW he was Tron!")

Before I left them, I reached into my pocket, and thankfully had a Flynn's token with me that I was able to give to the kid. He went nuts for the thing. He peeked his little eyes out from under the brim of his too-big Clu hat and said "THANK YOU SO MUCH!"

Sounds like the kid is really into Tron, and found Clu to be a cool character. That is neat. I mean I guess there is a good feeling to know that kids today can like what I like.

So what did this Clu hat look like?

Daft Punk... yeh they survived no problem. I bet Castor and Gem did too. Hope series three has a Gem figure. I think Daft Punk figures would be a good "Send in three proofs of purchase...." :P

Kinda like the Boba Fett figure in the 80's Star Wars line.where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

The Clu hat (assuming it's the same one) is a pretty nice piece from Walmart. Goes for $10. The cycle on the front is printed on but there is an embroidered TRON logo on the back. Thanks to hardataq for these pics from the 'Cheap Clu Hats' thread:

edit: Great story NickyTea! I was a little sad last week when I noticed I never see kids at the TRON section. But I also go pretty late, there aren't really kids much of anywhere at 10 pm lol.

Speaking of Toys Found at Retail, has anyone seen the Sam + Arcade besides that random person in Nebraska or Kansas a few weeks ago?

That's the last major retail piece that I haven't seen. I haven't bought any of the 2" stuff since that piece is the only one of interest. If I could find it I'd buy the rest of the 2" stuff but if I can't find it I'll just do without the whole line I think.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I second that question!

Personally, the Sam+Arcade has attained a somewhat mythical status with me at this point. LOL. I'd also seriously like to know how many people are able to find this puppy! I sure haven't seen it!

What is it with this piece that makes it so sought after here? the mini arcade replica is shit. You're better off buying the comic con version on feebay moreso like this figure. Your wasting your time. Reminds me of that idiot whom said, " oh here we have a rare clu lightcycle that's boxed inside sam flynns lightcycle box itself." Note: All clu lightcycles were that way.
