It's sought after because I spent my youth playing on that arcade machine and I like the design of the joystick.
It's not a great collectible and definitely not worth ebay prices, but if I could find it at Target for $5 I'd be really happy.
Thanks for suggesting how I spend my time though, I appreciate it.
Don't know why you felt so inclined to respond, must be a slow Friday night for you.
edit: You said one thing I do agree with, I clamor for that ComicCon piece but that's not worth the price of ebay now either. Hopefully it comes down a bit after the tron hype goes away and I can grab one for a 'reasonable' markup.
But, unless that's a toy you can find at retail, it has no business being discussed in this thread.

The Rinzler disks are at practically every Target I go to, so I'm somewhat surprised you can't find them. Okay, Kevin Flynn disk may be more difficult to track down, but certainly not impossible, and Target appears to be the place to check,

Soooo... tonight I found a Clu light cycle at Wally World (Wal-Mart). Only had to hit three of them tonight. So if you live in Dallas, I have to say that the Wal-Marts on 1382 between Cedar Hill and Lancaster are all devoid of Clu light cycles and now not places to look.
But yeh, amazes me that Wal-Mart would have this exclusive and then seemingly loose interest after getting a shipment in.
Oh well. I guess from here I need to get a Rinzler disc, and maybe one day that Castor figure will show up. :P

Surprisingly I have yet to find the series 2 of the action packs (Sam+Arcade, Sam+Clu, Black Guard+Jarvis). You would think they'd be here in SoCal seeing as the action packs are selling well at Targets here. Those are the only items I'm missing so far. where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Yes there is a paint variation on Clu. The one is series 2 is actually "golder" not "oranger" since Clu is yellow not orange like the sentries. I would love for Spin Master to make a variant orange Rinzler light cycle. |

The series 2 Clu has a more accurate paint job, the darker yellow. I have seen series 1 Clus at TRU with the updated color as well, its a running color change.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Anyone check out this article?
http://geek-news.mtv.com/2010/12/13/the-top-ten-tron-toys/
The Solar Sailor has been released already right?
" These are 12 inch figures of daft Punk in their Tron-centric outfits. That’s really all you need to know. The duo produced the score for the film and the unbelievably cool soundtrack to Tron: Legacy, and now you can have you very own Daft Punk figures from their cameo in the movie. The attention to detail is evident in all Medicom figures, and these two are gonna be no exception."
Have we seen or heard any more word on these?

That's the last major retail piece that I haven't seen. I haven't bought any of the 2" stuff since that piece is the only one of interest. If I could find it I'd buy the rest of the 2" stuff but if I can't find it I'll just do without the whole line I think. |
I'm still trying to find the Sam+Arcade in Nashville too. I want it for my game room to go with my Tron video game. When I visited my local Target last night, I talked to the young toy department employee. I asked when they were going to put out the series 2 toys since it was still all series 1 on the pegs. He said the toys have not been selling well at all and that they were still pulling out stock from the very first shipment of Tron toys since before Christmas! That's really the only toy besides the Ziggy..err I mean Castor and Quorra figures that I want.

LOL that's classic. I tell you what: you send me an extra $160+ and I'll buy that CC exclusive. Deal? I'd certainly LOVE to have it, and it sounds like you got all kindsa money to burn...
People shop within their BUDGETS. It's not like we're seeking these out because we're bored, have an extra $5 to blow, or need something to hang over our toilets.

Keeping my eyes peeled here in Omaha for the Sam/Arcade set for you guys. My brother and I got ours so if I find any more I'll make them available here. I do know that the other 2 sets from the second series were at a Target here the other night when my brother got his Arcade set. So if anybody wants those, let me know and I'll see if they're still there.
To the guy saying that the Sam/Arcade set was crap, yeah, I guess it is kinda chintzy and could have been deco'd a bit better. But for $5 I think it's a cool little item to have. To each his own.

That was an early solicitation image. The Solar Sailor was dropped (maybe another wave?) and the Grid Limo is now orange.
I've had no luck finding Sam+Arcade here, but my Target has weirdly never gotten Series 2 Core figures either though they've gotten the diecast Series 2 and newer vehicles (except the 3-man Light Jet which hasn't hit my area.)
Discuss it on tron-sector.com here. |

Just got my Deluxe Sam figure in the mail from Walmart.com for a total of $22. Very good deal in my opinion. Love the figure.

Yeah, Ultimate Sam is pretty nice, but I loves my Ultimate Clu so much more! It's strange to me what a size difference there is between the two. I mean, it isn't a HUGE difference, but it's noticeable enough that pretty much everyone who has seen both of them standing next to each other on my shelf has mentioned it.
