Looks like somebody put a lot of time into this. Not bad, but clearly a fake. I'm still holding my breath until some official word comes through.

Well yea, its a fake. If they do make another one, it will come from the source. This one is alright.. better then what I have seen of fan made videos

Totally fake, but the "Thank You, master Control" line was pretty awesome.
Sark's suit isn't really in the style of Legacy, but it still looked cool.

Not sure. Might be an early "underground" attempt to get fans going again. Whoever did this sunk a LOT of money, talent, and hours into this just for the sake of making a fan video.
Possible Flynn Lives type of arg?

So which pairing sounds the best? New MCP and Sark? Ed Jr and his Dad? Dad Dillinger as the MCP with Ed and Sark (oops, that's not a pairing)

Saw it earlier today, it hit the Sci-Fi blogs pretty early. Nice Fan work, but really kind of clunky. Someone else commented that some of the scenes were lifted right from "The Social Network" - which I haven't seen so I can't confirm.
Nice effects work though - Sark's face was king of clunky, but I thought that the light-cycle sequence was fairly well done, though I really didn't like seeing the light-trail IRL, since it wouldn't work.
Then again pulling a light cycle into the real world is a dubious prospect. I mean, what did the laser MAKE it out of?

It's fake obviously. There are huge contradictory problems with the teaser.
One, if you look at the lab scene again. The girl is using an old Apple computer with the floppies all over the place in contrast to the kid using the iphone. What time era is this?
Is this taking place in the late 80s again OR current time? Are we actually looking at young Dillinger Jr in college since I could'nt pick up what they said in the trailer.

So... what was this like? Apparently it was pretty good and now its been removed. Yet I've seen plenty of other Tron fanfilms that haven't been taken down. What got this targeted so fast?

Apparently the video was not a problem, it was the content from other videos that got the account pulled.

It's definitely a fan-made short (admitted to by the creator), but I think it's a decent attempt. A lot better than 99% of the fan short films I've seen out there!

I like how they made Sark's face look like the faces from the comic-con teaser/demo.

They shut down the channel for him sharing extras for the dvd and wb probably filed a complaint because of music or something.
